Table Of Contents

What you are about to see is a collection of videos from tapes I filmed and recorded while studying with Vernon Howard. You’ll see that many sections of the videos are not professionally filmed. This is because either I was filming just to obtain specific shots for television interviews or because I was not very experienced at filming. Also, these were recorded in the early eighties when the technology was not as sophisticated as it is now.

The contents are as follows:

I. Short commercial made for Vernon’s talks that were being aired on cable TV (approx 30 sec)

II. Parts of a meeting held on Friday, March 12, 1982, including mostly student speakers - with some comments from Vernon (approx 11 min)

III. Parts of a meeting held on Saturday, March 13, 1982, including a short talk by Vernon followed by student speakers, with some comments from Vernon (approx 24 m)

IV. Fun time in front of the meeting hall on March 13, 1982 (approx 11 min). Vernon and everyone else were inside the meeting hall during a banquet weekend. I had told Vernon that I was going to set up the camera looking toward the front of the meeting hall, and that I would like to film people leaving the hall as though a meeting had just gotten over. I was filming these shots for a future edit for a television interview. Well, wait till you see what Vernon did.

V. Various short film clips of Vernon - mostly from a tape I used for testing the equipment prior to filming Vernon’s talks. One clip is of Vernon and Sally F. sitting on the grass with others waiting for the Quartet and Pretties to entertain outdoors in  Boulder City in May of 1982 (approx 2 min).

VI. Two television interviews with Vernon (approx 12 min).

This DVD did take an enormous amount of time to put together. I hope you enjoy it and find it helpful.

Sincerely,
